My Painting Nest

Woke up earlier than usual this a.m.  Eager to get started in the studio.  My painting nest is very eclectic and personal.  It gets messy, sloppy even, when I'm in the midst of a painting.  But every Saturday, I make a point to clean and refresh.  I'm not sure that's a Southern Thing, but my mama always encouraged her children to believe that cleanliness is next to Godliness.  I like to believe it is.

Anyway, it's always nice to walk into an organized space on Monday's.  I'm so happy to be productive again.   Hey before I forget ya'll..I have some magnificent new items I'll be posting in my Etsy shop sometime this week. So if you're interested, stay close.  Colorful new frames containing a few of my favorite prints under glass.  They've been taking shape all weekend.

I have to admit I've always preferred the splendor of Oil On Canvas versus Print but with today's economy, I'm readjusting my radar just like the rest of the world.  But I want you all to know, I'm deligently trying to continue offering my collectors some really nice pieces, while still keeping my prices reasonable.

I outsource all my frame-work, and the sweet frame-artist I use came up with some awesome new and fun colors that I think will please everyone. In previous years I used only my signature Red or Black frame, now I'm notching it up quite a bit with this eye-catching new Fuchia, along with an Apple-Green that I think looks really nice.

Closing for today.  Enjoy this beautiful Monday!  Blessings, love, joy and sunshine to you all, Terri

Hi Terri!
Thanks for dropping by my blog and your lovely comments. Wow, you are an amazing painter!! I love love love everything you do!
I'm thinking about having a giveaway this month for a soldered charm that I will do of someone else's artwork for them. What do you think about that idea? I thought it might be fun for all the artist that follow!
Hugs,
Kelly

My oh my your work is amazing! I just love Southern flair and Southern decorating - it's the most beautiful style in my opinion. I compare it to French Country - very warm and cozy. You capture it perfectly in your work.
