Sentiments Of A Southern Artist: "Some Days Are Better Than Others"

It's interesting how things hardly turn out the way you expect.  I sat down all prepared to work today at my soldering bench, had the above design laid out so perfectly ready to go..also nearby I had this lovely vintage crystal bottle that I had been saving especially for this newest design...all foiled and ready to go..when all of a sudden the doorbell rings.  I guess the sound startled me and when I jumped somehow one of my knees hit the bench in such a way that...
Yep..my beautiful crystal bottle flew off hitting the tile floor and shattered into a hundred little pieces.  I was just sick losing something so beautiful.

Had to improvise and ended up using this small silver candlestick instead.
The brighter side is that the piece actually turned out pretty well, considering its rocky beginnings.

Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day!

The end result is beautiful! Perhaps this was one of those "happy accidents" that was just meant to be. Love your soldered pieces.

It does look pretty on the candlestick, but I hate it when I break something. I get so mad at myself...accidents happen I guess.
