Sentiments Of A Southern Artist: "In The Studio Sneak Peek Friday"

This Week I'm Trying To Get My Sea Legs Back.  Haven't been At The Easel For More Days Than I'd Like To Remember.

For Awhile There Soldering Managed To Keep Me Happy.  And I Still Plan To Create My Glasswork..

But I'm Overjoyed Right Now That Fall Is In The Air.  It's Truly My Power Painting Season!

Low Humidity Rates..I Can Run My Lighting On High Without Sweating In My Shoes.  And I Can Keep The Windows Wide Open For Healthy Ventilation.  :))

Anyhoo.  I'm Enjoying Being Back With My First Love..But Thought It Best To Begin with Something Simple So I Chose An Animal Theme.  "Lambs".

This Week I Prepared Three Separate Studies Of What I hope Will Evolve Into One Singular Canvas in the end.

That's about It For This Week's Studio Peek.  I'm Heading Over To Check Out Other Participants At Sweet Jennifer's.

Have A Fantastic Weekend Everyone!

Hello Sweet Friend Terri...
Oh how I love to come and visit with you. What a beautiful share the lamb of God. I love this little face of faith you have shared this morning. I pray you are well sweetie, and your precious Moma as well.

I hope it is a beautiful day in Georgia today. We are having a soft rain with 64 degrees, so beautiful. I could sit and watch the rain all day. Trying to assist with the painting of the house, and going up and down the ladder, I have done something to my left leg. I can hardly bear any weight on it at all. I am icing it and keeping it wrapped for the weekend to see how that will do. Still no voice to talk of. I have what I have and I am living with it. We are still trying to get the insurance to pay for a voice talking apparatus for me. So far, no luck. Time will tell.

I am trying to get back to visiting everyone, and I look forward to a beautiful year in 2011. I am praying hard on that one.

Have a gorgeous weekend sweetie. Many hugs and SO much love, Sherry

Glad the weather is good over there for you and yay for getting back to the easel. The weather over here has been very fall like too which is nice for southern CA. We have gotten some nice showers and cool breezes. Im loving it...perfect cuddling weather

Hi Terri,
Your lambs are so precious...I look forward to see what you put together with them. I agree with Rhonda about the Christmas theme.

Thank you too for your words over on my blog today. I'm glad that it was an encouragement to you. We all have something unique to give within might be possessions, but even more so, it is part of who we are that we have to give...

Have a lovely weekend!
Love & grace,

Look at that sweet little face...aren't lambs just the most darling creatures?

I love lambs and yours are so beautiful. The face is so sweet! Your banner with dradonflies is adorable. Love the colors and the joy it reflects. Enjoy your weather, I love that weather, too when I am not in Puerto Rico. Our Seasons are almost the same. Maybe a little cold on Jan and Feb and windy on March but some days are still hot so our windows are always open!

Terri! I am thrilled to see a lamb! Lambs have been my most favorite animal since I was a baby. The fact that my mom threw away my stuffed Lammy-kins when I was 5, still bothers me. I was going to say the lamb in the sweater was my favorite, but the fact is I love them all! If you ever want to sell any of these studies...please let me know!
I am as excited as you are to see you with your paint brush in hand :)))
