Sentiments Of A Southern Artist: "In The Studio Sneak Peek Friday"

Joy.  Love.  Faith & Hope.  These are reoccurring themes in the newest series I've been working on.

The Second Of which I worked on throughout this week..all the while compulsively listening to "Wolf Hall," a historical novel about the court of Henry VIII.  I was literally addicted to the "Tudors" while the series played each week on Showtime.  Ended up buying the entire DVD sets so I could enjoy them again and again.

Thomas Cromwell is perhaps my favorite character..to me he was far more sympathetic than Thomas More.  In the "Tudors" Cromwell was incredibly honest..and I'm thinking the King could always count on this trait when calling upon Cromwell for sound advice.

Not much else is happening..plan to begin drafting my last canvas in this series today.  I'm heading over to http://www.studiojru.com/ to see what's happening in other studios.  Here's Wishing Each Who May Have Visited Today..A Wonderful Weekend!

Love the sweet face on little "faith". I really think you need to paint more...it's just as wonderful as your bottle work. I'm going to join Kelly in the search for tudors. I never heard of it. Sometimes those series are so fun to watch.
