"Behind Picket Fences"

Life Is Always Happening!  To You.  To Me.  To Everyone.  Behind Our Picket Fences, I Feel Each Of Us Do The Best We Can.  Seeing How "Life" Distracted Me From Enjoying Studio Time This Week, I Thought I'd Share A Wonderful ATLANTA Painter With Y'all.

His Name Is "James McLaughlin Way".

He's Currently Exhibiting At "Mason Muer Gallery".  This Gallery Is One Of The Most Unique Art Spaces In Our Fair Capital. Many Of The Galleries In Atlanta Are Cramped And Really Difficult To Navagate Through.  But "Mason Muer" Is HUGE.  The Owners Took An Old Warehouse And Impressively Converted It Into A Place Where Canvases Can Actually BREATHE.

See..Now That's What I'm Talkin' Bout!  The Only Things The Owners Added To This Enterior Was A Reception Desk And Display Walls.  It's Truly Awe Inspiring When Compared To The Tight Quarters I'm Used To Visiting.

Here's Another Piece By The Talented James Way.  His Canvases Are Gigantic! And When You First Walk Up On Them They're Rather Imposing..Like LARGER Than Life..But When You Take A Closer Look, His Use Of Glazing Forces Your Eye To Take In The Focal Without Missing A Beat.

Friends..Look At The Muscles On This Animal!  Pictures Don't Do This Painting Justice.  I Wish Y'all Could Experience The Mood This Composition Evokes In Person. The Depth Of The Thick Fog In The Background..The Brushstrokes.  The Richness Of Detail In EVERY STROKE Is Phenomenal!

I Saved The Best For Last!  This Monumental Piece Is Entitled, "The Bow".  For One To Fully Appreciate Its Majesty..You'd Have To Stand Next To This Towering Canvas To Fully Absorb Its Overwhelming Beauty!  I Swear Friends, It Can Make You Weep!

This Particular Piece Spoke To Me.  I Have No Agenda Here Other Than To Connect Y'all To Some Of The Finest Work I've Experienced In Quite A While.  I've Had Some Favorite Artists I've Long Held Allegiance To..But "James McLaughlin Way" Now Tops My List!

Have A Beautiful Weekend Everybody!

Love & Georgia Sunshine To All,
Terri
