Sneak Peek Friday "Inner Stillness"

"All Artists Whether They Know It Or Not, Create From A Place Of No-Mind, From Inner Stillness"  ~ Eckhart Tolle

It's True..When I'm In A State Of Creativity..I'm Not Thinking.  I'm Simply In The Flow.  Moving Paint Around..Adding Some..Scraping Back..A Lit'l More Movement Here..A Lit'l Less There.

Began This New 30X40 Yesterday.  I've Laid In What I Think Will Be My Colors.  Never Really Sure How They'll All Play Together Until I Get Further Along.

I Think Because I've Recently Begun Reading About Van Gogh..His Style And Life Have Motivated Me.  As I Was Putting My Composition Draft Together..I Thought To Myself If He Were Still Alive..What Would He Be Giving Us With His Art?

Hope Everyone Has A Lovely Easter!  May God Bless Us All!

Hi Terri.. LOVE Eckhart Tolle's book "A New Earth".. And the quote you post here today.. But as I've been crafting and creating this week, I've caught myself in a FEW blunders and goof-ups, and I feel like I'm DEFINITELY in a place of "NO MIND"!!! (0; Anyways.. LOVE your beautiful painting! Happy Easter wishes to you! ~tina

Terri, i'm still so new to the whole mixed media/painting arena, but I really love the whole idea of working intuitively. I have a bunch of different projects on my table. I just put on some Pandora music and see where things go. I can totally see the "inner stillness" idea. It's very calming and soul-sustaining. This new piece you are working on is gorgeous!!!

What a big gorgeous piece Terri. Can not wait to see the progress. It is so easy to get lost in a painting. Isn't it wonderful!?! So happy to see you join today! Happy Easter. ♥

That's clear truth, my darling friend! When I'm creating I'm not thinking too. Sometimes Mr. Mind destroys all process:))

HAPPY EASTER!
