"Couldn't Sleep"

It's 4 a.m. Here In Middle Georgia.  I Haven't Been Sleeping Well Since My Mama Passed, So Tonight I Decided To Do Something Other Than Cry.

I Got Up And Painted.  Yes, In My PJ's There I Stood In My Bare Feet In Front Of The Easel.

I'm A Lit'l Tired Now.  Think I'll Give Sleep Another Try.

Have A Wonderful Weekend Everyone!

Sending Love & Sunshine 2 U All,

A wonderful way to walk through your grief--we have to walk through it to get to the other side.
She's a beautiful piece of art.

Hi Terry,
I've been reading your posts and I'm so sorry you have been so sad. I know that you miss your Mama. I miss mine everyday. I try to dwell on the wonderful memories of her and I always imagine her hugging me tight.

Do whatever brings you comfort. The painting is beautiful and makes me smile.

I wish there was something I could say to you to make you less sad but I can't think of a thing. It's going on 7 years since I lost my mother and I still miss her every day. I can tell you that as time passes you become less sad but you still don't forget which is a good thing. The painting was worth a bit of lost sleep. I am so sorry for your loss. May 2012 bring many good things into your life. Hugs

I am so sorry you are so very sad. Art truly does heal and it's so great you turned to your art in your time of sorrow.

Your painting is a beauty! The woman is beautiful and the colors are beautiful but what most struck me was the strokes. So painterly and unique in style, I now know those stokes were all of your feelings poured out into the canvas. Wonderful work! I hope sleep brings you some peace.

Big hugs,
