It's A Bit Like Being At A New Restaurant And Wanting To Try Everything On The Menu. Playing With Clay And Learning All The Do's And Don'ts Is Much The Same.
Initially I Created The Form For This Piece That Included Rabbit Ears. I'll Include A Photo To Show Y'all How In The End They Just Didn't Seem To Fit.
So I Carved Them Back And Added A Hat. I Suppose I Have A Thing For Hats. I Love To Put Them On My Women When Painting, And Guess They've Now Found Their Way Onto These New Clay Figures.
I Gave This Figure A Lit'l Tummy And Some Curvy Hips. I Almost Left Her Undressed..But Thought Better Of It. Besides, I Like Coming Up With Cute Outfits And Think This One Fits The Character Of This Piece Nicely.
So There You Have It. My Second Effort With Clay. I Needed Something New ~ And I'm Enjoying The Feel And The Progression This Media Is Connecting Me To.
Hope Everyone Has A Wonderful Weekend Ahead!
Sending You All A Lit'l Love & Georgia Sunshine,
Terri
