"Backyard Bliss"

Not Sure If I've Ever Introduced Robert, My Sweet Husband.  But Here He Is Playing Handy Man To A Patio Project We Worked On Together Over The Weekend.  Please Excuse The Mess..Too Hot In Georgia To Work Inside The Garage So We Hauled Everything To The Backyard.

Robert Constructed Our 50X50 Future-Patio-Table Out Of Heavy Planked Pine For the Top Along With Fence Posting For The Framing And Legs.  This Thing Was So Weighty Once He Was Finished, We Had To Put It On A Furniture Mover With Wheels In Order To Get It Into The Studio So I Could Paint It.

I Already Knew I Wanted Sunflowers On Top So I Sketched Them In And Waited Until The Following Day To Begin Laying In My Color.

By Monday Evening I Had Completed The First Flower ~ Seeing How The Painting Area Was So Large, It Took Me The Entire Day.

When Tuesday Rolled Around I Had Errands To Run And Didn't Complete The Second Flower Until Today.  Once The Paint Fully Cures I'll Top Everything Off With A Mariner's Varnish And Relocate Her Back Out To The Patio.  Y'all, I Can't Wait To Have My First Glass Of Iced Peach Tea And Finally Have Some Place To Set It Down On Between Sips.  Thank You Honey Pie For Creating Such A Beautiful Yet Fun Piece That We'll Surely Enjoy For Years To come.

Sending Love & Georgia Sunshine To Anyone Who May Have Popped By,
