I Enjoyed A Tranquil Few Hours In The Studio Today. After Opening The Patio Doors Connected To My Workspace, The Rustle Of Golden Leaves And Children Playing In The Yard Next To Mine, Kept Me Company.
My Head Has Been Bubbling With Ideas For A Few Days Now But I Couldn't Decide On Exactly What Direction I Would Be Taking My Next Piece To. That Is Until I Came Across The Vintage Bridle Rosette Hidden Deep Inside My Keepsake Drawer. I Loved This Old Thing From The First Time I Saw It..The Letter "G" Is Embedded In A Circle Of Thick Glass And Reminded Me Instantly Of My Two Most Favorite Things In The World Beginning With "G". GOD and Georgia.
I Knew One Day I'd Use This For Something..And Today I Decided It Would Make A Sensational Focal. Then Suddenly I Remembered Something My Mama Use To Say From Time To Time To Her Girls': "No Matter What, Even If You Don't Feel Like It ~ Always Be Gracious." So I Dug Through My New Components Container And Came Across A Lit'l Sterling Bee That I Felt Would Be A Perfect Substitute For The Word "Be".
And Add All Of This With A Little Fire And Patience...And Whaa La ~ A New Pendant Was Born. This Makes My Third So Far. And I Have To Tell Y'all ~ I'm So Happy To Have Discovered The Art Of Making Jewelry. It's So Relaxing, Fun and Calming To The Spirit..Just A Pure Delight.
