"Oval Rough-Cut Ruby Ring" by Dimples & Dragonflies

I'm So Very Proud Of This Ring!  I Can't Begin To Tell Y'all About The Learning Curve - Going From Larger Scale Pieces Like Sheet Cut Bracelets..To The Smaller Cuts Required For Rings.

I Essentially Destroyed My First Two Rings Before I Finally Got The Hang Of Things! Today It's Humorous..Yesterday, I Wanted To Pull My Hair Out!

The Most Difficult Part To Me Is Stone Setting.  Not Sure If All Jewelry Designers Find That Hard..But I Sure Do!  But After Some Research I Discovered A Little Known American Indian Technique, That Once I Began Using, Changed Everything For Me!

I'm Taking A Much Needed Break From The Studio Today!  I've Been In The Kitchen Most Of The Day Preparing My Dressing Mix For Upcoming Thanksgiving Dinner.  It's My Grandmother's Recipe, And Once It's Prepared, It Has To Cure For 3 to 4 Days Before Baking It.

There's Never A Spoonful Left Of The Stuff!!!

I really like beading! And I really like the concept of creating interchangeable Jewelry items, especially necklaces and bracelets. What a cool idea!
